The days of exaggerated dances, mostly of ‘the Negro origin, are numbered.—Grace is replacing jerky syncopation. The dancing congress at present sitting, decided not to recommend such invasions as the heebie jeebies, and the equally uncivilised black bottom dance. Experts declared that there was a definite movement towards the waltz and other dances which were popular twenty years ago. The public is thoroughly tired. It no sooner masters a dance than it is out of fashion.
