An interesting ceremony was performed in Christchurch at the opening of the new Training College last w r eek The opening of the doors was followed by them nveiling of the memorial window. The president of the Ex-Students’ Association, Mr G. Jobberns, spoke of the importance of the occasion to the old students. Col. A. B. Charters, C.M.G., D. 5.0., M.A., after a short speech, in which he spoke of the wonderful influence for good that a teacher had, and particularly a teacher who had served in the war, unveiled the momorial window. Colonel Charters is a. brother of Mrs D. A. Sellar, of Hawern.
