SOCIAL GATHERING
representative gathering of woiiwishers took place at the Oddfellows ’ Hall. Knponga. on Tuesday night, when Miss Ingram, daughter of Air and Airs Peter Ingram, of Kapuni, was entertained at a kite lien ten. Fully 120 were, present, and it was found necessary to adjourn to the Parish Hall to accommodate the unexpected attendance. ATiss Ingram was made the recipient of a large number of useful presents on the eve of her marriage. During the evening vocal items were rendered by Airs Lawrence and Messrs Wilson and Afarr. Dancing was kept up until a late hour to music supplied by ATiss Shirras. The whole entertainment was under the direction of Airs W. Alarr.
