WEDDING.
THATCHER—PUTT
A quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. John church, Otakeho, on Easter Monday, when Myra, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs. E. R. Putt, was united in bonds of matrimony to John Hall, eldest son of Mr. andv Mrs. Thatcher, Berkshire, England. The service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Solomon, Manaia. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was attired in an ensemble suit of dove-grey repp., with fox fur and white felt hat and carried a pretty boquet of Autumn flowers. Miss Linda Putt, who acted as bridesmaid, wore a pretty frock of bois derose repp., with hat to match. Mr. G-. Clarke of Auroa, carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony the guests, which included only near relatives, were entertained at a reception by the bride’s parents. The happy coupto were the recipents of many beautiful presents, and left later by car for their honey moon in the north en route to their future home at Arapnni. -
