Present indications are for moderate northerly winds, freshening and backing by north to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy ami unsettled. with rain following. The barometer is falling. Seas considerable; tides good.
Preparations are in hand for the forthcoming annual ball at, Matapu, which takes place on Friday. The music is in the hands of Messrs Boulton and the floor is in capital order. SUITS TO MEASURE.
