Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the fallowing cablegram from their London House under date of the 19th instant. Butter. —Market firm. We quote: Danish 162/- to 164/-, finest New Zealand 162/- to 164/-, Australian finest unsalted 164 to 166/-, salted 160/- to 162/-. Cheese. —Market firm. We quote: New Zealand white 84/- to 85/-, coloured 85/- to 86/. Spot price for Canadian white and coloured, 94/- to 96/-. FROZEN MEAT. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London House under date of the 19th instant. Frozen meat market unchanged at last quotations, but banners very slow*, owing to heavy supplies of Con tinental. DAIRY PRODUCE BOARD. ADVANCES ON BUTTER AND CHEESE. In a circular to factories, the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board states: We have just received :a cable Hem London that they Lave arranged tor shipping advances to be' increased; to the following rateis: —Creamery burner, finest grade Is 3d per lb, first grade Is 2td. second Is Hd. Whey butter, first grade Is Id per lb, second grade Is. Cheese, finest grade 64 d per lb, first o-rade 64d, second grade 6£d;. With a premium of 3s 4d per crate for finest grade cheese. These rates apply to produce graded on and after M.ay 1, 1927. Advances against store warrants on produce intended for shipment will be henceforward 1 :—Creamery butter, £3 per box; whey butter, £2 ss; cheese, £4 per crate.
