Prince Danilo, of Montenegro, who is residing in France, is suing the American Film Co v for libel arising out of the exhibition of the film, “The Merry Widow,” which, he said, insulted himself and the Montenegrin royalties, says the Paris correspondent of “The Times.’ - M. Boncour, Prince Danilo’s counsel, says it is alleged that the scenario writer, and ex-Austrian officer, made the hero, whom he named Danilo, a drunken debauchee instead of the original pleasant character. * It is recalled that the Italian, Czecho-Slovakian, ’ and Jugo-Slav Governments banned the film.
