WAVERLEY.

LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN’S DANCE. ' A very enjoyable dance took place in the Waverley Town Hall last night organised by the Legion of Frontiersmen. There was a very large attendance including a number of officers and men from the territorial camp on the racecourse. The dance marked the first of what is intended to .ake series of annual fixtures. In view of the short time available to make arrangements, the result was a decided success and reflected great credit on the committee, which had charge of the work : Lieut. Stevens, Sergeant Myliili, Capts Forsyth and Harvey, Frontiersmen, Tennent, Ross and McGonej .
