The American organisation of a Commonwealth fund which provides fellowships of the value of three thousand dollars per year, tenable for two years at American universities by British graduates, has established three extra scholarships for men from the Dominions. Mr H. I. Coombes. of Adelaide, lias been appointed to the Rockfeuer Institute for Physiology, and Mr Archibald McDougall, of Tasmania, to Columbia University for law.
