AIR FORCE TRAGEDY.

TWO MACHINES TOUCH. INQUEST AT MELBOURNE. BY CABLE—PBESB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT MELBOURNE, May 19. A verdict of accidental death was returned, the coroner making no comment. At the inquest into the air smash at Melbourne on April 21, the evidence showed that the machines were giving a salute to the Duke and Duchess, by dipping, when one touched the other Both aeroplanes then crashed. Both machines were trustworthy, having been thoroughly inspected on the morning of the flight. An Air Force officer stated that, since the tragedy, arrangements had been completed tor the equipment of every machine with parachutes.
