HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated May 14, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London.:— BUTTER. Market steady. Official quotations are: — New Zealand. —Finest salted, 158 s to 160 s per cwt (Is 4£-d to Is 5d per lb); unsa.lted, 164 sto 168 s per cwt (Is sr)d to Is 6d per,lb); other qualities, 154 s to 156 s per cwt (Is 4£d to Is 4£d per lb). . . k Australian. —Salted, 156 s to 158 s per cwt (Is 4id to Is 4|d per lb; unsalted. 160 s to 164 s per cwt (Is 5d to Is 5Jd per lb) ;other qualities, 142 s to 156 s per cwt (Is 3d to Is 4|d per lb). Argentine.—Unsalted, 153 s to 156 s per cwt (Is 41 d to Is 4Jd per lb) ; other qualities., 148 s to 152 s per cwt (Is 3d to Is 4A-d per lb). Danish. —160 s to 164 s per cwt (Is 5d to Is 5-i-d per lb). Siberian.- —150 s to 152 s per- cwt (Is 4d to Is 44 d per lb). Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per Port Albany and Port Brisbane.
