NURSE FOUND DEAD. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, May 12. Having disappeared from her home -in Hesketh street, Ponsonby, last night, a nurse, Margaret Campbell, was found dead on St. Mary’s beach by a search party at seven o’clock this morning, apparently drowned. The deceased -served as a nurse for three years during the war, and it was understood had been mentioned in despatches. She had been in illhealth for some time as a result of her services in France, and had been unable to work on that account for a considerable period. She resided with her parents. She retired as usual last evening, and it was not till this morning that she was discovered to he missing. No one saw her leaving the house.
