The aviator’s mother pathetically predicted this morning: “My boy is sleeping on the waves. They will find him to-day. He is worn out with fatigue and has descended in some remote bay. ’ ’
A FRUITLESS SEARCH.
Received 11.35 a.m. to-day. NEW YORK, May 11. A Boston message states that after a continuous search for twenty-four hours, as far as Newfoundland, naval and coastguard vessels reported no trace of Captain Nungesser.
AVIATOR’S BROTHER TO SEARCH.
Received 10.45 a.m. to-day. PARIS, May 11. The authorities announce that- Leon Nungesser, the airman’s brother, is accompanying the despatch boat Ailette, Which is seeking the airman. —Australian Press Assn, and “Sun.”
