In a suit in the Supreme Court by the Irish Free States, claiming as successor to the Irish Republic, that it is entitled to bonds- subscribed in the United States for the. Republican cause, was dismissed. At the same time the Government decided the claim of De Valera and his co-trustees to- the bonds, which were ordered to be .sold and the proceeds to revert to the original subscribers. The amount involved was 2,500,00 dollars. The litigation has lasted five years. —Australian Press Association and “Sun.”
