MOTOR CYCLIST HURT

John Stewart Ellis, of Wellington, a student at Canterbury College, met with severe injury yesterday morning. While riding a motor cycle Ellis had a head-on collision with a motor ear. He was taken to hospital suffering from severe injuries to his face and a fractured leg. CASE OF GAS POISONING. DUNEDIN, May 9. Henry Temple, a single man, aged 24. was found dead this morning in the clubroom of the “Tablet” newspaper office. The cause of death was gas poisoning.
