NO EIGHT-OAR CREW COMPETING.
B 1 CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 1 12.15 p.m. to-day. HOBART, May 7. At a meeting of the Australian Amateur Rowing Council it was decided that no eight-oared crew would be sent for thei Olympic Games in Amsterdam next year owing to the expense involved.
