FIRST DAY’S ACCEPTANCES

Acceptance® for the first day of the winter meeting of the Egmont Racin D Club closed last evening and indicate that the club’s popular steeplechase carnival, which will be open on lhnisday next, will provide patrons ot the turf with some excellent racing. Altogether there are 97 acceptors for the seven events —an average of just nuclei 14 in each race —and this is well up to the standard of the meeting. In© Telegraph Hack event has attracted considerable support and 23 entrants will be carded, while for the principal race of the day there are 10 acceptors.
