Sir Francis Bell was requested, by the Government to represent it at the meeting of the League of Nations at Geneva, and l this duty lie carried out. Sir Francis still retained liis position as leader of the Legislative Council, 'and will resume that position, on Parliament meeting. He was pleased to see that Sir Francis was able to continue his valuable services to tbe Dominion. He paid tribute to Sir R. 'Heaton Rhodes for acting as leader last session.
