DAIRY PRODUCE RETURNS.

APRIL FIGURES.

The returns of dairy produce handled at the Refrigerating Works, Patea, during the month ended April 30 show that butter and oheese was received into store to a total value of approximately £84,114, allowing approximately £4 for each crate of cheese and £3 for each box of butter. Cheese accounts for £72,636 of the amount.

On the same basis the exports were valued at approximately £84,132, the cheese total being £69,660 and butter £14.472. The official statement is as follows:
