EGMONT NATIONAL PARK
MEETING OF THE BOARD. At a .meeting of the Mount Egmont National Park Board on Thursday, matters relating to the work of the year were discussed and dealt with. A decision was made to wait on the Taranaki Local Bodies’ Association at the next, meeting, with a request for the usual subsidy, and also to approach the Minister for a subsidy of £SOO. Tlie scale of fees for motors and other vehicles, similar to that now in force was adopted and will be gazetted. Consideration was given to a draft bill in connection with the financing of the North Road as approved by the Department, and it was adopted. A report was received that £550 had been spent on reafforestation during the year, and that park and house fees-had been received as below. South £706, North £494, East £6l. West £9.
