At t]ie encl of the session he was also 547 unfinished, with the pendulum position. The balls will be left unmoved overnight, and Reece to-morrow will try to beat Newman’s record break of 1370. Reece declares that “nobody will bis able to do much with the pendulum stroke. They will never find the secret. I do not know it niv-self, and _ cannot place the balls in position with my hands, bub can play them into it sometimes. Ido not know how to do it. It .is a most exacting and exhausting shot. I know my nerves are strung up nil the time.”
