The dispute between the two opposing factions in the Labour* Party Uas become so acute that a split within the- ranks of the State Parliamentary Labour appears unavoidable. It is stated Mr. Lang may take immediate steps to reco'nstruet the Cabinet, those replacing the revolting Ministers bv supporting the Seale faction. This would mean a general electron about October, before the Government meets Parliament. . o It has been reported that Mimsteis in revolt have requested the Governor not to dissolve Parliament or sign any executive minute to that effect without first consulting the Ministers.
