This Fertiliser Prom the Superiority of SULFUROPHOSPHATE SULFUROPHOSPHATE HTHE following extract was recently published in “The Fertiliser,” 4he world’s most authoritative farm journal:—“ln order to compare the values of the different phosphatic fertilisers on the turnip crop, an experiment was carried out last season by the West of Scotland Agricultural College, using Garton’s Marvellous Swede: On a sandy loam soil eleven plots were treated with a basal manure at the rate of 6 tons farmyard manure, ljcwt potash manure salts, and 14cwt. sulphate of ammonia per acre, supplemented by various phosphatic manures to supply the same amount of phosphate per plot.
