HOOKEY DANCE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The ioc-al hockey club held a dance in the hall on AVednesday night, and a most enjoyable time was spent 'by all present. About thirty couples attended, and an Eltham orchestra supplied the music. Supper was served by the committee. after which dancing proceeded until the early hours of the morning. PERSONAL. ATr. J. Lambic left by the mail train on Tuesday morning for YVellington'. where he is spending a few weeks’ holiday. Mr. Foy, from Wellington, with his son, is spending a holiday at the residence of liis father, Air. A. 11. Foy. .\riss D. Nicholas look up duties in the Hawera Ilospilal on Alonday. Mrs. 0. McGninness intends going to .YY'rdlington on Friday. Mrs. C. T. Nicholas will accompany her. .Mrs. .). I*. Alary and Alias McGregor left by train this morning for Mon-ins-villi*. where the.-vf will spenel: " their Easter holidavs.
