BURGLARY.
RAID ON INGEIISOLLS. (BY TELEGRAPH"PRESS ASSOCIATION.) HASTINGS, April 13. A daring burglary took place oast night, when the window of S. O. Garland's jewellery shop was broken, and pocket watches valued, at between £7O and £BO were- taken, but a tray ox valuable wristlet watches, valued at £3OO, was untouched. A 'large tray of gold watcln-is had fortunately been removed from the window at closing time.
The burglar then went to the other end of the town, where lie left £-0 worth of watches, including some highclass Rotherhams, in a palmstand outside the tea-rooms, where they were found by a passer-by early in the morning. Many of the missing watches are cii-ap IngensoTs.
