RADIO TESTS.

WITH THE C. A. LARSEN (by telegraph—pit ess association.) BLENHEIM, April 11. During the last few days local radio' amateurs have heard the Californian station, KRIL, calling for 2YK, Wellington, and asking that anyone hearing the signals should, report. The Californian, which is using approximately the same wave length as 4YA, Dunedin, will be railing again to-day front 2.50 to 6.26, Now Zealand time.

THE EXPLANATION. WELLINGTON, April 11. The so-called Californian station reported from Blenheim is the Norwegian whaling factory ship C. A. Larson, making daily radiophone tests with Wellington on the way to California. The ship sailed on Thursday.
