ACTION FOR DAMAGES.
ALLEGED WRONGFUL ARREST. SY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT SYDNEY, April 11. An action has commenced in which Amy Johnson, the wife of Jacob Johnson, who secured damages against the Ccmmonwealth for wrongful arrest, is claiming £SOOO compensation from the Prime Minister and the superintendent of the Commonwealth Police Force, as agents of the Commonwealth, in connection' -with the arrest of Johnson under a deportation order. Plaintiff alleges that, while she was living with her husband, defendants entered her home, assaulted her husband and imprisoned him, causing her mental anguish and derangement of her mental system.
