PECULIAR STORM
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 11.
An exceptionally heavy hail storm sprang a surprise visit on Christchurch at about nine o ’clock on Saturday evening and continued for five or ten minutes. There were many peculiarities about the storm. It was not general over Christchurch, but seemed to strike a line from the south-west at Sydenham over the heart of the city towards Richmond. In the wake of the storm came a severe frost, 11.3 degrees being registered.
CANTERBURY FREEMASONS.
