LONDON, April 4. ‘‘Broadcasting is only five ye ans old,” said Professor Low in reply to Mr H. G. Wells’s provocative criticism, “yet it increased its circulation more than Mr Wells has. Soon we shall have television. Mr Wells is one of the most brilliant men living, so he should try to improve broadcasting.” Scores of experts point to the broadcast of the boat race, and say: “Doesn’t that answer Wells.-’.’
