The “Daily Alail’s” Rome correspondent says that great political importance attaches to Herr Bethleny visit to-day to perfect agreements giving Hungary an outlet to the sea at Fiume, and also to oono’ude a treaty of friendship. The treaty of friendship affords fresh evidence of the success of Signor Al-us--solini’-s policy of extending Italian influence to the Balkans and Eastern Europe, gradually supplanting French predominance among the Little Entente. and the former Austrian countries.
Italo-Hungarian relations are now very cordial. Italy’s relations also being excellent with Greece. Roumama. Bulgaria. Albania and Poand.
