Through his delivery van running inlu n telegraph post near \\ aitotarn yesterday afternoon, John Bruce suli'ered severe injuries to his head and underwent an operation at the W anganui Public Hospital last night. Bruce, who lived at Putiki, and who was hawking fish, was found lying unconscious on the road shortly after 3 o’clock in the afternoon, and was conveyed to the hospital by the police.
