At the meeting of the general committee of the Egniont A. and P. Association to-day, motions of condolence with the relatives of the late Mrs. J. Winks, Messrs E. Godfrey and T. H. Fever were carried. The grand concert held at Mokoia last evening in aid of the funds of the newly-formed Mokoia Scout troop, was largely attended. Interesting exhibitions of scout work were given jointly by the Hawera and Mokoia troops. During the evening Mr. F. IV. Horner (South Taranaki Commissioner) presented to the troop a Union Jack donated by Miss M. Lysaght. A concert programme, arranged by the Hawera Rotary Club, was followed by a dance.
