MAN MISSING.

FROM S.S. MAORI. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, April 2.

A man giving the name of John Simson, of Dunedin, who purchased a ticket at Lyttelton wharf, and was allotted a bert on the Maori last night was missing on arrival of the steamer at Wellington. A steward, on taking a cup of tea to the cabin, found that the bed had net been slept in. Baggage and shoes were left. When the baggage was searched, a letter was found in an overcoat pocket, addressed to the wife of the missing man, this lias not been opened.
