VOTES FOR WOMEN.
BRITISH CABINET SPLIT. BY CABLE—TRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHJ. LONDON, March 31. There are indications an acute Cabinet split on the question of votes for young women. So says “Tlie Times’s’’ political correspondent, who points out that the third cabinet meeting this week considered the enfranchising of women between the ages of 21 to 30, to which certain ministers are opposed, resulting in the previously rejected compromise being reconsidered. Mr. Baldwin in expected to make a definite statement on the subject before Easter.
