POSSIBLE SUICIDE. (by TKLKGRAPH—press association.) DUNEDIN, April 1. When a letter was received by the police this morning stating that- the writer (whose signature looked like the word “Argue”) intended jumping into the Pacific Ocean, and that his car would lie found at Bobby’s Head Beach, Goodwood, there was a suspicion in the minds of officers that the com unication might he a joke by -someone who still followed the traditions of April Fool’s Day, but inquiries were iset afoot, and a car was located at the spot indicated in the letter. It was found that the car was registered in Southland, where a man of the name of Argus resided.. The ear had apparently been abandoned a couple of days ago. .and there was a suit case in it. Further investigations by the police are- taking place. Q ■
