ROTORUA SHOW.

PUMICE SOIL PRODUCTION. The high quality of the exhibits of garden produce and fruit at the Rotorua Agricultural and Pastoral Association's summer show proved that the pumice soils arc capable of producing great crops of vegetables and fruit of many varieties. The table potatoes were clean, first-class samples, and the table carrots were free from forking and very large. Judging by the varieties of the exhibits, both in the stock and produce sections, the pumice soil is capable of being worked successfully for sheep, market gardening, dairying or any kind of field produce.
