Cecil Firth, who is excavating at- Bokhara, ha.s discovered a most remarkable pre-pyramid tomb. It belongs to the Third Dynasty, and contains remarkable portraits of King Zoser, the builder of the steppe pyramid. The low relief sculpture is the finest _vet discovered.
