MANNEQUIN DISPLAY.
MESSRS MeGBUER. BONK & 00. At the 1 Opera House last evening a very interesting and fashionable mannequin display was staged by Messrs McGruer, Bono and Co. The display included an evening set, in which wore worn smart- evening frocks in the new chenille georgette, smart Spanish shawls, and panne velvet evening cloaks, trimmed with fur. The splendid display of fur coats in natural musquash, marmot, sealine, beaver and peschanslci, and afternoon frocks and smart velvet model hats made striking pictures. Repp frocks will be a feature this winter, and they were well displayed with smart velour coats and felt hats, showing new shades and styles. A smart black coat was trimmed with squirrel tails. Check costumes wore shown to advantage, these Vicing very smart, the new apperleam- attracting attention. A black velvet coat, black and white check skirt, and a white felt hat made an attractive display. Smart black check costumes were also shown to advantage. To complete the display a very effective and pretty bridal display was arranged in the new green and flesh shades. The ‘•bride” was dressed in white satin with a silver bridal veil. The bridesmaids wore- smart picture hats to match their dresses.
