GOOD PRICES AT CHRISTCHURCH

The fourth wool sale was he’d to-day, the catalogue comprising 13,000 bales. The sale was really good throughout, practically the whole catalogue being sold. Compared with tljjg Dunedin sale, finer wools were up by to Id, and three-quarterbred and crossbred held their own. On the last Christchurch sale, finer wools advanced bv Id to lid, three-quarterbred and crossbreds by Id. Half-bred made to 201 d. merino 20jd, three-quarterbred to 18d, crossbred to 171 d. Half-bred pieces went as high as 19d.
