Depressing results, attended the inauguration of balloon jumping yesterday at Staglane aerodrome. Mr F. Dobbs attached a small balloon' to hi,s shoulders and hepped several times, but the onlookers asked “Where’s- the thrill?” The opinion is held that the labour of maintaining a large ground staff and the heavy expense of the equipment were sufficient to daimpen the * ardour of the enthusiasts.
