academic discussion.

bt cable —press association— copybight.

NEW YORK, March 10. A total of 116 members of the faculty of Princeton University have issued a statement endorsing the University of Columbia’s request for a revision of the war debts. The document points out that however well intetioned and lenient as the terms of the settlement thus far effected are, they do not meet the situation as it exists, and concludes: “To divorce the financial provisions of the loans from the abnormal situation in which they were asked for and given," is to invent an unreal economic abstraction.”
