Denton’, the King’s Medallist, lias been a member of the permanent staff since the inception, of the territorial scheme, and has spent five yeaTs on active service, .three with mounted troops in Palestine, and two with the Air Force at the same theatre. He is now attached to the' Soclcburn Aerodrome, and has been shooting ;at the New Zealand meetings since 1913. Last year was his first Army meeting, when he came seventh in the King’s Medal match.
