At the Hawera Magistrate's Court this morning, before Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., the case in which Mervyn Oliver Lock applied for the cancellation of maintenance and guardianship orders in favour of Amy Lock was dismissed after the Magistrate had heard argument from Mr L. A. Taylor (for plaintiff) and Mr G. J. Bayley (for respondent) . The Kailway Department advertises in this issue particulars of train arrangements and excursion fares in connection with trotting Taces at New Plymouth on March 12.
