* ‘ X..Y.Z. ’ ’ —A branch, of the St. John Ambulance Association is in existence in Hawera, the president being Mr P. C. Spratt. The classes had to bo abandoned last winter owing to lack of support, but if sufficient interest were shown lectures could be resumed.
