SIX PUBLICANS FINED. (|fY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, March 4. Five publicans who bottled other liquor in bottles from which the original labels had not been removed were fined £3O each by Mr Page, S.M., today. A sixth, KeHeher, of the Albert Hotel, who was 'previously convicted of a .similar offence, was fined £4O. The five were: Frobisher, of the Albion Hotel; Bourke, of the Citv Hotel; Kennedv, of the Te Aro Hotel; Atwood, of the Railway Hotel, Lower Hurt; ana Meagher, of the Bellvue Hotel, Lower Hutt. ~ ’When Mr Perry, for the accused, said there was no suggestion that the liquor had been tampered with. Mr Macassey said that it was all of an inferior quality.
