A landslide overwhelmed 12 houses in Serajevo, while numbers of railway stations and hotels wore destroyed between Spalato ami Mostar., Minor shocks are reported in central and southern Italy. LONDON, Feb. 15. Fifty deaths are reported in the neighbourhood of Serajevo. The number of deaths elsewhere are unknown ,but thousands of people are homeless as a result of the earthquake. Troops are assisting Red Cross workers. Every building in Stolae has been damaged.

The earthquake in Jugo-Slavia devastated the whole of southern Herzegovina, Bosnia and Dalmatia.. The panicstricken population is camping in the fields, fearing a recurrence of the shocks.' Several thousands of houses collapsed, and the damage is estimated at one' hundred million dinars. A hotel at Ragusa was demolished, causing many deaths. The value of the dinar in British currency is 9.513 d.
