DELAY CAL'S ED TO TRAIN. The Brisbane express was an hour late in reaching Newcastle one evening recently. The train was stopped by the stationmaster at Cowan, and the driver was requested to look out for a young man who was. reported to lie lying asleep in one of the tunnels between Cowan and the Hawkoshury. The express proceeded slowly on its journey, and in one of the tunnels, with his foot close to tlm rails, the mart was found. When he was awakened by the guard, he is said to have shown fight and gave as his reason for being there that he had done come walking and fe’it tired, so he sat down to have. a rest. Tie was taken on by the train and handed over to the stationmaster at Hawkosbury.
