Next Friday and Saturday the. Taranaki team will meet the visitors from Melbourne, and they will have to put their best foot foremost if they Avish to make a decent showing. It is to be hoped that they will, one and all, go on to the field determined to the best they can and to do that in their natural style and wih a feeling of confidence that will go far to help make runs. This spirit Avas wanting in the greater portion of the other Hawke Cup matches.
