THE AIARTON JUNCTION FATALITY. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.j AIARTON, Feb. 9. In connection with the fatal accident at the station at Alarton Junction last night, further inquiries reveal that a. railwayman named Roulston, who was on duty over 100 yards away, saw Willacy fall beneath the tender of the engine, which, was proceeding backwards to the locomotive sheds. The deceased had been noticed previously walking towards the station. He) was on his way to Ohakune to purchase sheep. His relatives state that his hearing and eyesight, were good, and how he failed to notice the approaching engine was a mystery.
