No"’ Zealand, market slow (172* to 1745). Cheese, market steady, quotations unchanged. (Co’onred ‘*ts. white 94-s. N Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from London under date of January 27 : Butter. —Market dull. AVe quote Danish 180 s (174 s to 1765) ; New Zealand finest 174 s (174); first grade 172 s (L72s) ; Australian finest unsalted 170 s to 174 s (172 sto 1745); salted 166 s to 170 s (166 s to 170 s). Cheese: New Zealand cheese market, quiet. We quote New Zealand finest white 94s (945); colourd 95s (955); first grade (945); coloured 95s (955) ; first grade adinn market steady. Spot price for white and coloured 94s to 100 s (92s to 985).” Last week’s quotations shown in parentheses.
